Amazing Car of the Future! Would You Buy It?

It’s here, people! For me, this hover car is the pizza version of cars. *winks* “By the way, what is a hover car?” Alright. According to Wikipedia, a hover car is a “personal vehicle that flies at a constant altitude of up to few meters above the ground and used for personal transportation in the same way a modern automobile is employed.”Anyway, we only see these cars in science fiction. Now, science and technology has made it non-fiction. Oh yes! *winks* This hover car can be found hovering in Beijing, China. Why don’t you come and ride with me in this car while I tell you about it? “Uh-huh! Let’s go!”

This brilliant concept design for a hover car is from People’s Car Project in China. This project starts in 2011, and it encourages people to contribute design ideas for Volkswagen's model of the future. More than 33 million people have visited the project’s site and submitted 119,000 ideas. According to Jonathon Ramsey from Autoblog, “three concepts were created from the inputs: the Music Car, the Hover Car, and the Smart Key.”

This disc-shaped hovercraft in China uses the electromagnetic levitation “to float along its own grid above the regular road network.” If you worry about collisions, then don’t. It has distance sensors that keep the craft from colliding with other vehicles. It has a joystick which allows you to maneuver and a seat for two people. *silence* Are we thinking the same thing? “Video games, dude.” High five! The hover car can move side to side, back and forth, and can even spin in axis. And you know what makes me fall in love with this car? It has no emissions! This is my kind of vehicle. *winks*
